After first having worked for an Italian automotive company in Tokyo, and then for a Japanese trading company in Milan, Satomi Konno began work free-lancing as a translator and coordinator.
Since 1998 Satomi Konno has worked closely with a literary agent who specializes in looking for books which are published in Italy, but which will be of interest to the Japanese market.
She lives in the UK and Italy, but also works together with her business partners in Japan.
Satomi Konno is also a freelance writer. She had written articles on the Italian life-style, and contributed to several magazines, for example: Yahoo Travel, Cybird, and Arukikata.com.
